ahornydodo Well, kinda hard to like characters beyond their design when they barely speak or do much on their own as soon as you recruit them to your party., meaning they get little development. Paula certainly ain't Kumatora, that's for certain.

ahornydodo The Mother series only starts having fleshed out party members with the third game. Paula is from the second game, Earthbound. Her design is also quite plain in comparison to Kumatora from Mother 3. Probably helps that Kumatora is much older as well.

ahornydodo So yeah, Paula's rarely touched because artists are far more uncomfortable with aging a character like Paula up in comparison to Kumatora.
